Meet Louis Walsh’s number one fan

X Factor judge Louis Walsh is no stranger to the trappings of fame. With his annual appearances on telly’s top talent show and circle of celebrity friends, he’s well accustomed to shooing off the attentions of an amorous young lady or two. But as amorous young ladies go, young Tanya Macintosh seems particularly persistent.
Seasoned Walsh-watchers will have noticed that the diminutive pop picker’s finding it pretty hard to escape young Tanya at the moment. The pair were first snapped together last Wednesday outside the swanky Mayfair hotel, after Tanya and her gran had loitered around the entrance for eight hours solid just to catch a glimpse of the Boyzone manager.
Tanya is believed to have given Louis her mobile number, and even asked him if he fancied getting hitched. Whether Walsh will be accepting her kind offer isn’t yet known, but his facial expression on bumping into the love-struck fan again on Monday and late last night seem to suggest he’s probably less than keen.
On Tanya’s latest pilgrimage to meet the Irish pop pixie, she even sported a spanking new T-shirt emblazoned with a photograph of the pair’s first meeting. Oh, and a pair of pink wellies Louis had kindly autographed last week.
